Denis Colomb, Cashmere Scarves
Having trained as an architect at the ISAD School of Design in Milan, Denis Colomb has a honed appreciation for craftsmanship and beauty. It was while working on a collection of rugs for architectural commissons that he was exposed to the artistry and traditional techniques of local craftsmen in Nepal. Inspired, he began to experiment with Mongolian cashmere and so began his production of scarves, shawls and throws.
These traditional production techniques are still used today in the workshops across Nepal where each scarf is woven by hand. Having emerged from a love of travel and desire to create beautiful products, Denis Colomb scarves are a luxury everyday essential.
