Margaret Howell

Margaret Howell embraces a hands–on design philosophy. Her functional pieces exhibit her core values: relaxed, lived–in, natural. She began by designing men’s clothing and discovered that women wanted them. Inspired by authenticity, connection and quality, Howell collaborates with manufacturers and craftspeople who share her values. In her own words: “I enjoy pulling these threads of British tradition, quality and skill together in clothes that are meant to be worn in the real world, where good design is about living with thoughtful style.”
