A Glimpse inside Rosa Maria’s Workshop
As long time fans and stockists, for over a decade, of Rosa Maria jewellery we are privileged to share imagery from her workshop in Lebanon. These photographs show the labour intensive craftsmanship involved in the making of each piece of jewellery. It is this very human method of production that gives life and energy to the raw materials and unites them with such ease and refinement.
The juxtaposition of inlaying delicate icy diamonds into a large sterling silver frame is so carefully executed that it is at once beautiful and commanding. Perfect imperfections reveal the method’s of hand production that make every ring, necklace and bracelet unique and personal. The overt materiality and unapologetic beauty of the organic shapes imbue the jewellery with a strong sense of identity and belonging, making each piece of Rosa Maria jewellery a force to be reckoned with.
