Introducing : YMC

YMC, short for You Must Create, was founded in London by Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins in the mid-nineties. The name has it’s roots in a quote from French-born design pioneer Raymond Loewy, who proclaimed “You must create your own design style.” YMC takes this ethos forward with their own easily-recognisable style - understated, everyday garments in seasonal prints, checks and stripes that run through the men’s and women’s collections. Inspired by vintage militaria, traditional workwear and post-punk culture, the collection assembles ‘the building blocks of the modern wardrobe’.
