Trudon x Giambattista Valli Rose Poivrée candle. The bouquet of fresh and lush roses evokes Marie Antoinette’s love of the flower. A hint of Tuscan black pepper at the heart of the rose delivers subtle, unexpected harmony. The special edition Rose Poivrée, candle was created by Cire Trudon in partnership with designer Giambattista Valli to celebrate the 2010 opening of his first store on rue Boissy d’Anglas in Paris.
Head: Mandarin, Lily of the Valley, Madagascar Pepper.
Heart: Amber, Palmarosa, Rose.
Base: Musks, Sandalwood.
270g vegetable–based scented candle. White hand–blown glass. Presentation box. Burns for approximately 55-60 hours. Made in France.
Cire Trudon is the world’s oldest candlemaker and has supplied the likes of Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette throughout its storied history.
