Trudon 'The Alabasters' Ernesto candle. The delicate alabaster not only replaces the traditional green-glass but creates a sculptural object complete with a matching top. Sculpted in Spain out of a single block, the new containers and matching tops are one-of-a-kind: the alabaster’s veins that run on the surface are unique by essence. Minimal aesthetic, a gold metallic label further recalls the manufacture’s history.
In a hotel of Havana, under the fixed sun of the Revolution: the fierce and partisan overtones of leather and tobacco meddle with the paneling’s waxen silence. In the cool dimness, fawn grimaces shimmer along with the smoke of cigars and the barrels of guns.
Head: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Rhum.
Heart: Oak Wood, Clove, Labdanum, Patchouli.
Base: Tobacco, Amber, Leather, Moss.
270g vegetable–based scented candle. Burns for approximately 55-60 hours. Made in France.Trudon is the world’s oldest candlemaker and has supplied the likes of Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette throughout its storied history.
