Trudon Madeleine Candle. Galloping from Versailles to Marseille, Madeleine’s audacious spirit trails in the wind. Iris, jasmine and rose dress their petals in handsome leather. This swashbuckling fragrance pays homage to Madeleine de Maupin — accomplished horsewoman, fencer and renown 17th century dissident.
Head notes: castoreum, clove, lavender. Heart notes: iris, jasmine, rose, vetiver. Base notes: leather, moss, patchouli, tabac.
270g vegetable–based scented candle. Hand–blown green glass. Presentation box. Burns for approximately 55-60 hours. Made in France.
Cire Trudon is the world’s oldest candlemaker and has supplied the likes of Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette throughout its storied history.
