Introducing: Black Crane
Black Crane is designed by husband and wife duo Alexander Yamaguchi and Momoko Suzuki. As a skilled silkscreen printer and architect respectively, they each bring different influences and skills that are reflected within the collection. Clean lines are matched with a soft colour palette and natural fabrics creating a silhouette that is easy-going and comfortable.
‘Black Crane’ represents pure deep black as the pair are deeply interested in their Japanese roots as well as ancient Japanese culture and civilization. This heritage is reflected in the simplicity and construction of the garments.
With environmental issues in mind, all production processes, inclusive of fabric weaving, take place locally in Los Angeles, California.
