Dries Van Noten SS17
Dries Van Noten’s SS17 show took place amongst twenty three large ‘towers of flowers’. The botanical arrangements, encased in five foot ice blocks, were created by Azuma Makoto, a Japanese flower artist, botanical sculptor and co-founder of JARDINS des FLEURS. As the show progressed the spotlit sculptures began to melt, delicately echoing the floral placement prints at the hem of a dress or draped across the shoulder of an oversized bomber jacket.
