Handwoven in Mexico by indigenous artisans using rich, vegetable-tanned leathers, Chamula footwear sustains traditional modes of craftsmanship and design. The leathers are intentionally finished 'naked' to preserve the natural leather fibre structure and texture and to allow the leather to develop beautiful patinas to their fullest potential over the life of the product. Each shoe is made in small batch quantities to be both durable and comfortable.
