Casey Casey clothing embodies our favourite principles – timeless, relaxed and functional. And, for Autumn/Winter 2020, designer Gareth Casey doesn’t disappoint, delivering a high-spirited collection with a dash of elegance and playfulness.

We wrote about Casey Casey a few months ago on our blog, but if you missed it and are still unfamiliar with this elusive brand, fear not. Let us catch you up. Made entirely in France, each piece is intentionally unique, with the fabrics undergoing a slow process of dying and laundering to make it soft and lived in, then meticulously and painstakingly crafted with hands-on workmanship. Casey Casey doesn’t simply follow trends, but makes clothing made to last the test of time and changing fashion.

Honouring their well-established silhouette of loose cut and minimalist form, the new collection takes a mostly monochromatic colour palette and enhances these classic forms with elegant fabrics and textures. Texture is the key to these subtle updates, elevating fundamental basics to a multi-dimensional level. A classic blob coat (oversized and full length) reimagined in plush brown velvet, or tapered, elastic waistband pants in a vibrant purple to playfully recreate an everyday staple.

Fluidity and voluptuousness flows through the latest collection making the clothes not just pieces of art that look pretty, but made to move. Take the Dos Dos Tata Dress, an elegant and flowing shape that flatters the body. These aren’t just garments to be seen in, but garments to exist in.
